Alelou 2007-09-29 . chapter 12I'm so glad I finally found this. Well-plotted, well-written, and really startlingly prescient considering when it was posted. Good use of classic Trek. All around lovely! |
mstars 2007-09-27 . chapter 1WOW WOW WOW WOW
I just found this
One would have to ask did Coto, read this story and do his own re-write on it (making Archer the Hero let me find the bathroom oh please)
I love it when he says "Darlin', it'd take a lot more than some two thousand year old ghost rattlin' around in my head to keep me from lovin' you" LOVE IT
You state that you plan on writing something called Objects in Motion, What happen .. got sick of Enterprise and crap they were giving us due fact you wrote this in 2002! |
padawanmage 2007-01-16 . chapter 12 Since the Scifi channel is now playing Enterprise on Mondays, I had an itch to reread some fics I had saved as favorites.
I just finished rereading this story and it's still as good as when I first found it. By far, one of the best Trip/T'Pol stories out there.
Interesting to see the differences between this story and the series after season one. I really did want Trip to be the recipient of a certain katra, but I guess Archer has to be the focus sometimes. ;-)
I know it's been three years since you posted this story, but you mentioned a follow up to this fic called 'Objects in Motion(?)' Although the series ended on such a ridiculous note (As Tasha Yar said so long ago, 'It never happened!'), I do hope to one day read this fic.
Maybe TaTV gave such a bad taste in almost everyone's mouth that you might have lost interest in the fandom. I'd like to think it gave a reason for a lot of good writers to write their own versions or continuations.
So, hopefully, somewhere, somehow, 'Object's may one day see the light.
I still have you as a favorite as well as on my alerts, so I'm willing to wait. Take care. |
Maraluch 2006-10-16 . chapter 12I just can't believe this story was written so long ago and I just now found it! WONDERFUL! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent reading it. You're plot is superb and the characters are dead on in language and mannerisms. I loved your Trip/T'Pol humour. Glueing his PADDS to his workstation?!! And 'symetrical' no less! Trick candles!? I can only imagine T'Pol's angst at that one.
I loved it! Really did! Thanks so much for posting this story. |
Debbie5 2006-03-14 . chapter 1Read the entire story and WOW! This is one of the best stories I have read here. I hope this isn't the end of it. You have everything in place and you really know the characters - Keep writing!! |
PadawanMage 2005-05-12 . chapter 2I know I've already reviewed this before but I stumbled on to this as well and wanted to leave one more for the road.
With the end of Enterprise coming in two weeks and we now see (finally) some T'pol/Rtip stuff going on, I have to say that with all the loads of stories I've read and reviewed, I always go back and compare it to this one. This story fully convinced me of this pairing and I still found it interesting that ideas shown here came out, in one form or another, in later episodes of the show.
For me, in my opinion, I have to say this is arguably the best story I've read and I wanted to thank you for an enjoyable tale. |
trisuns5 2005-04-10 . chapter 12 Thoroughly loved this! There is not one single thing I think could be improved. It's one of the best I've ever read. |
Danielle55 2004-11-06 . chapter 12I've been checking regularly since last year for the sequel. Any idea when you are going to post it?
This is such a great story (and all the other prequels). Don't leave us high and dry... |
JonnyG 2004-11-02 . chapter 12 When are we going to see the sequal to this story because its more than a year late. Could you please post a authors note to tell us how long we must wait. |
anonnymous reader87 2004-10-12 . chapter 12 this is definately the greatest fic ever! if i directed the show i would fire all the writers an hire you in a heartbeat. i actually missed a couple episodes of the show because i was to involved in reading this. |
Peter Simons 2004-05-16 . chapter 4I have said so at the T/T'Pers site already, but it doesn't hurt to say it again: This story is fantastic. It's one of my all-time favorites, and I've read it at least half a dozen times by now. Thank you for writing this! |
 A. Windsor 2004-02-05 . chapter 12"Darlin', it'd take a lot more than some two thousand year old ghost rattlin' around in my head to keep me from lovin' you."
I almost cried! That's the best line! I adored this story because the characters are so IN character... It's not pure mush where nothing happens and T'Pol isn't completely stoic... good lord, the woman DOES fall in love with Trip, she's GOT to be able to show it (Sorry, pet peeve with some T/T stories I've read)
This was amazing... You captured the spirit of Enterprise...
O, since I'm writing this in Feb. 2004, looking forward to Harbinger?

lordanhur 2003-09-02 . chapter 12great i liked the differences in this version that wernt in the one i read before on a different site
great job |
squints 2003-05-01 . chapter 12I just wanted to let you know that I greatly enjoyed your writing. I watch Enterprise when I get the chance, which is unfortunately, not as often as I would like. The thought of T'Pol and Trip together never occured to me, but after reading your stories, it seems totally logical. I look forward to your follow up. |
Nala 2003-04-23 . chapter 12Wow, this was really good. I liked it that T'Pol's father and the priestress didn't blame her for bonding with a human. Really great *Nala* |
