I reread this and 'his private life, assuming he has one' is telling of Ryn; maybe she hasn't thought that not everyone is 'deep' and is just what they seem?

That was really fascinating. Your OC-Ryn seems to know alot. Like those quiet people who observe, and never speak. (And, it seems she's not a new person to you?) The interaction between Ahsoka and Ryn kinda reminded me of two sisters. And all the backstories are really interesting, and it leaves the reader in the dark, but lets them know so much too. Nicely done!
