I found this fic to be satisfying, in a rather odd sort of way. I suppose it's because you wrote in such a way that I could almost accept it as being part of Canon. Good job. :)

I think this is probably my favorite piece of fanfiction ever, and certainly the one that made me become a slash-convert. So much is plain old trash, this is insightful, tasteful, and exquisite in its crafting. I'd love to see more on thisn arc (and on the Celebrimor-Narvi story too!).

I don't like slash, and I never have, but this fic has been hanging around teasing me for ages, adn I finally tought 'oh to hell with it!' and read it. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I still don't like slash, but for a slash fic this was very well-written, and I enjoyed it.

Wow! This may be the only story I have read from Galadriel's POV, and it was wonderfully written. Although I do not really believe that Gimli had such deep feelings for Legolas prior to their arrival in Lorien, I still found the story plausible and entertaining. I loved the was Galadriel "teased" Legolas by eventually showing him his own obsession with that stubborn Dwarf. Very well done.

Ooooh, I can just hear her, "Liar" Love it. An interesting take on the beginnings of a great relationship!

Well written, interesting idea, dialogue was good - all in all, quite a nice little interlude.

Oh wow. When I can actually hear Cate Blanchett narrating that, you know its amazing. It is. Outstanding work. Characterizations are just perfect.

Oh, Honesty, this is just lovely. Tightly crafted (one of my major pleasures when I encounter it!) and exquisitely written, the characterizations are superb, and I just adore Galadriel and Celeborn anyway, so I'm glad of your mention of him, and hints of their interaction as a couple. (And wouldn't I just love to see a story from you where she DOES have to "trespass" on her lord.... "though I would not trespass on him, I know how, in case of need. It is not a hard matter, but one of skill, and most of all of patience...." what a yummy line....)

But Gimli's thoughts are Oh, so much his own, and Legolas' fit perfectly as well -- I love Galadriel's rejoinder of "Liar" to him... (grin) Just a lovely piece, I hope there will be more along this arc and line. VERY nice job, you continue to be a delight.
