Really a fascinating idea. I'm looking forward to reading more of this. My only problem is I keep thinking that Watari was a thief when he was a kitsune (or admitted to being a kitsune, however you want to phrase it), so I keep having to remind myself, no he is not Kurama. :) Other than that, though, I'm really enjoying this fic. It's excellently written. Happy writing.

I really like this! Do you by any chance draw inspiration from Yu Yu Hakusho...? _ I think your plot is great, you are definitely going places, even if the reader doesn't know where they are, it seems that you have what you want planned out. I hate reading fics with no direction just as much as I hate writing them _;;. I think Watari's characterization is a bit off - I always pictured him as much more bubbly and cheerful - but then again, you've put him in a situation where it would be difficult to maintain that sort of humor, since his eternal soul is in danger, but he does retain a touch of warmth... not to mention I'm only basing what I think off the anime. I hope you further exhibit Watari's eccentricities, 'cause they crack me up... _ I'm really curious as to where this goes, I think it's marvelously written and I can't wait to find out what happens next!

AAAAAAAACK! Watari the Kitsune! Will someone talented PLEASE do some fanart of this? That's one of the most gorgeous mental images I've run across in ages (well, short of Watari wearing nothing but his hair and maybe a box of chocolates, but that's another story). PLEASE continue this- it's got excellent promise, and your style flows nicely. Sigh... a big, golden kitsune; koitsu wo kakoii...
