I can now sleep in peace. I discovered the American Girl category on fanfiction just today and have spent hours reading. I saw that it was almost 3 in the morning, and I kept telling myself "just one more"... I am stopping here. PERFECT way to end the night. Amazing work!

I read this some months ago, and I remembered really liking it. I am pleased to say that it is even better than I remembered. You have captured the sweetness and innocence of the books, and in so few words written not only a lovely love story, but also an awareness of growing up and moving on and the way that people change. Of all the people who have written Ben and Felicity as they have grown up, I will have to say that this is my favorite and the best written of what I've read. Thanks.

This was finer than pink ribbons on old guitars, and reuniting with lost horses, and learning to whistle from an apprentice! Or... maybe it's on even level with the apprentice thing. ;) I loved it very, very much! It's a perfect piece for those like me who wanted a grown-up Ben and Felicity story, but don't want to wade through the sadness of the war and their separation. Brava, my friend! :D I'm sure I'll be returning to this again and again for those times when I need a little pick-me-up.

Felicity came out just a bit after my initial interest in American Dolls (I had Kirsten), but I remember how beautiful she was so I read her books even then I didn't have her doll-and LOVED them. Then later I watched the movie, and loved that too. Got to love those silent, passionate men. I think you got Ben's character straight on. Well done!
