Sounds like Sammy has a case of Stockholm syndrome. You did a good job of conveying her thoughts, this story feels like a stream of consciousness. I can see how her thoughts go from point A to point B. The sentence fragments actually help with the feel of this story, since people do not always think in perfect sentences.

The humor in here blends really nicely into the drama and helped prevent this from getting overly dark. Both Sam and Scam felt believable and IC considering the circumstances.

I rather like this. And I love how there isn't an obvious attraction between them (especially an obvious, PHYSICAL attraction, because those make me want to bang my head against the wall after a while).

I also like how Sam isn't a Mary Sue. Even though the cursing was a bit OOC, it made sense, seeing as she was just tortured and thought.

The only thing I notticed is that you use parentheses quite a lot, which sidetracks the reader and pulls them out of the story. But otherwise it wasn't difficult to read. :)

I'm speechless and yet I'm going to write a review anyway. This story was phenomenal, the entire time I was extremely giddy, I don't know why I was laughing but believe me it's a good sign! This has got be one of my most favorite fics ever read! The writing was great and so was the story line. Sam and Scam were so in character, especially Sam because it's no wonder her thoughts would turn sadistic in her situation. Terrance's monologue was absolutely hilarious! The ending was just... uh it left me kinda sad but happy! I really hope you write another fanfic of this, carrying on from Sam's view or Scam's, either way is good, but if you carried on from Scam's there'd be no mystery left to him and Scam is nothing if he's not mysterious (and sarcastic). And I think that Scam did everything he did because he wanted to protect Sam from the war that was going on, she could get hurt if she fought, right? And i guess he has good intentions, but he is really keeping her caged like an animal, i think more insight on his reasons to keep her would be so awesome in another fic, so please write one!

She heard his gurgling before she saw him fall.

His blood had pooled at the floor and his body and fell with a thump. Sam's jaw dropped before she looked up at his attacker.

Scam was standing there calmly, wiping the blood off his knife with a small towel. As if he didn't just kill someone in cold blood and their body wasn't jumbled on the floor. She looked away.

-HOLY...OMG HOLY DAMN! He omg omg omg...Scam killed Terrance. OMG. OMG OMG. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.

OMG this is gonna be a 2 part review! :D

This was a really amazing fic - definitely more my speed. I loved the fact that it was basically just little snip-its of moments between Scam and Sam, cuts out all the clutter of other characters and holds my attention better. I also like the fact that, even from Sam's perspective, Scam himself seems confused as to his own intentions. I get the impression that he's acting totally off instinct here and his consciousness is even questioning his motives. If there is a follow-up, I would absolutely love to see it explore his puzzlement at his own behavior. It would most definitely be entertaining and maybe even a little sweet, I'd wager. (Unintentionally, of course; this is Scam after all.)

I'll certainly be on the look-out for a follow-up.

Uhm, might just be one of the best stories you've written so far... sooooo it'd be great if you updated with the sister story. Honestly though, this is really good. I actually thought the grammar (or lack thereof) was perfect. It made it seem real. but anywayyy hope the sister story comes up soon. :)

I seriously loved this. I loved the emotion and the thoughts that Sam had here. I loved how Scam here was shown caring about her unconsciously. I bet that he doesn't even know himself that much that he cares about her. And that's the cuteness that I love. I really, really loved how this turned out. I'm serious. This. Was. Brilliant.

And the way that he was so in character, yet totally not himself? I loved it. It was amazing. Phenomenal. Totally unexpected. I would love it if you wrote a sister fic to this, but with Scam POV. I'd love it. But in the meantime, I will mourn the loss for the fact that I've already read all your Sam/Scam stories, because I really want to read more XD

I really liked this! Sam's thoughts were extremely entertaining. I really hope you write another part I would love to know what was going through Scam's head. I think it's great that he seemed to care for Sam whether that was there in the beginning or not.
