This was adorable. Have I read this before? I'll check the reviews to see... Vash is so sweet, and I can see him second guessing his choice to leave Knives alive, and quickly panicking for those who were foolish enough to stick around him.

Hope all is well. My life has been hectic and chaotic to say the least. I was thinking of rereading your Unexpected, to see if it could inspire me to finish that old Humpty Dumpy fic.

I just watched Trigun... finally... and since I remembered you'd written a fanfic from that anime, the first thing I did was run to my computer to read it. Beautiful, as always.

*huggles fic* Very nicely done. A perfect Vash/Meryl together fic that's actually believeable- and the many reasons that Meryl mentioned also happen to be the same ones that make me love the character of Vash with my own heart. (As much as someone can love a purely fictional character. _) Nice touch with Knives- he really does love his brother, but shows it in the most... *disturbing* ways... *shakes head* Very in character, and perfectly set after the closing credits in episode 26. Very nice. :D

I love Trigun. _; I enjoy ever episode, I am in love with Vash, even when I want to bash him over the head half the time, and I love Legato and Knives and Wolfwood...

*sighs* Yet I have *never* read a Trigun fic. Perhaps part of the reason is I haven't seen the whole series yet, part of it is I'm so behind on reading my favorite DBZ stories, and hell writing my own, but I think the BIGGEST reason is when I go and surf for a Trigun fic, I find yaoi porn. *sigh* I have a few very rare yaoi couples I like, don't get me wrong, but I don't really see the appeal in making all these different pairings. _ Maybe that's why I'm a BV fan and not a G/V fan or something.

*Sweatdrops* I'm babbling. In any case, if I don't run into the yaoi which hold no interest for me (Legato and Vash might be interesting but still... uh, no), then I come across the AMAZING amount of incest yaoi O_o; Heck, TWIN incest yaoi. THEN I find twin incest yaoi PORN! *sigh* I haven't yet found a GOOD, sweet, well-done characterization of characters that FIT together the way the series protrayed them at least to how I see them. Until now!

I was simply searching for old fics I haven't finished reading, in an attempt to get motivation to READ things and write things, and stumbled across you, when I adored Unexpected so long ago. Saw this little Trigun fic and went, well, we KNOW you're not going to make me vomit, so I had to see. _;

Now, onto the actual review! I loved it! Vash is at his most serious, which is rare in the series, but given what I understand happened at the end of Trigun (I still don't know FULL details I hide from major spoilers as I'm still searching up the DVDs _), it is completely right to make him not so goofy just yet. This whole piece was very well-written and the sweetness of the ending had me smiling. Great job, Sango!

Very nice. Can't say that Vash is my favorite male character, but he is one of them. I think you really captured the characters good. And you took advantage of Vash's other emotional side (the serious one) to fit the mood of this fic.

I'm a complete sucker for V/M shipping, and that one is amazing. One shots can be pretty lame, but that, oh god, that one was teeeeeeeeeerific! i also go with the "glad they didn't go to bed" people. of course, i'm just rambling on like i usually do in my reviews, but i loved this!
