Ayane458 2/29/12 . chapter 1I absolutely love this -can't really think of anything else to say. |
Smitti 10/18/11 . chapter 1 Simply Awesomel. I love the writing style in this. |
Martienne 8/19/11 . chapter 1I like this bio for CT. Even if already it's clear that a few of the elements don't quite line up with canon, I don't mind that at all because of how well-written it is. I like how you trace her transformation from being somewhat of an idealist, to dealing with her own frailty, trying to love past it, and the bitterness that comes after. |
anon 8/15/11 . chapter 1 Very nice bio of CT, even if the promts confused me a lil bit. I think wash/ct would work out way better than wash/south anyway, so thanks for putting that in. Extra points for including season 9 canon. Next week Tex comes back! |
Marianne Bennet 8/10/11 . chapter 1There was something really powerful about the "pain and wounds" piece, especially with that line "Kill the bad guys." It created with metaphysical sense that the real wound wasn't inflicted by any gun but rather in the sense of an emotional detachment, that CT had severed their conciousness into more managable parts. It was especially poignant when one then looked down and saw its follow-up (god).
This really got me thinking and there hasn't much that's done that for me lately (a side effect of it being summer and consequently hot I suppose). It also was truly enjoyable and it felt as though you packed a lot of emotion into very few words. And each one was really lovely in its own way. It was like one mental punch after another (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
Anyway, to cut to the chase, I really liked it. And I don't have a clue what Red vs. Blue is. :) |
iwantyourovaries 8/10/11 . chapter 1I always liked CT, and I'm really glad that you expanded on what we know about her while still keeping to plausible ideas. Fantastic writing; I love the prompts, and the contrast of CT's and Wash's attitudes. He asks her what she needs, while she asks him what he wants. I suppose that's the type of difference that sorts the people on the board from those not on the board! |
