Edna Pests 5/9/13 . chapter 23"You said, 'don't leave'…Will, I won't leave you…I'd never do that."" Not everything is about YOU, Robin! |
Edna Pests 5/8/13 . chapter 1Go listen to Valjean's Soliloquy. It reminds me so much of Will's struggle as you've described it, with Robin as the Priest. |
AliuIce0814 5/8/13 . chapter 24This is the best story I have read in quite a long time. I love Robin and Will, and I desperately needed to see their brotherly bonds strengthen. Thank you so much for writing this. It is incredibly well-written and thought-out and well worth the read. |
LishaChan 4/16/13 . chapter 22So I just watched PoT again last night and then had to go read your fic again! Really hoping that you publish the sequel soon! haha apparently I've been reviewing a lot xD |
talk-ape 3/26/13 . chapter 16Brilliant backstory. I am treating this as canon it is so darn good. Dun dun dun about the nobleman |
talk-ape 3/26/13 . chapter 10This, this is what's missing from the film. Brilliant s far, the level of character depth and thought in this is great. You GET Will. |
Erana 1/30/13 . chapter 24This was absolutely brilliant. I really hope you're still intending to write that sequel, because I desperately want to read it. I remember the first time I watched Robin Hood POT; throughout I enjoyed it as a nice re-telling of the legend, but honestly I never would've read any fanfic for it, and I never would've re-watched it. Right up until THAT scene. That one, single scene which completely stole the entire movie. And, of course, that's the problem, too - the writers/actors did a phenomenal job with that scene, but I don't think they realized that the level of my giving a damn about anything besides Will and Robin's relationship had dropped to nada after it. To go from that brilliant moment to battle and marriage was just ridiculous. It should have happened much sooner, so they could've actually EXPLORED it more. Heh, sorry - long ramble is long. My point is this fanfic is what I wish the movie had been, i.e. MORE. And as I said, I really hope you do write that sequel because I for one would absolutely love to read it. You did a brilliant job with this - thank you so much for writing and posting it. |
LishaChan 10/8/12 . chapter 23Hi again! Rewatched PoT a few days ago and had the urge to read this story again! I see from your Author's Notes that you were planning on writing a sequel... not sure if that is still in the works, but I would love to read it! |
HollyJeen 9/15/12 . chapter 24I am late to the party on this on, but this was excellent! I really enjoyed your Robin so full of love for his new brother and Will's heartbreaking fear to reach out. I really wish they had included more of that in the film! I know it's been awhile, but is there any chance you are still thinking of a sequel? I would LOVE to read it! |
Becki 5/17/12 . chapter 24Lovely story, thank you for sharing :-) |
Duette 4/16/12 . chapter 24What a wonderfully written, articulate story! I haven't read a story so well put together in a while, and I'm glad I stumbled upon this one. I was nostalgic for some Christian Slater, and, after a quick re-watch of RH:PoT, this story has thoroughly satisfied my fix. This might be one of those fics I come back to time and time again just for a good read. Thank you so much for such a wonderful story! |
LishaChan 12/12/11 . chapter 24Oh my gosh, I loved this story! Stayed up way too late to finish reading it! I really really hope you write another PoT Will centric story- awesome job! |
rebyl 12/10/11 . chapter 8I just found this story and I love it! I really hope you continue! |
leebers 10/21/11 . chapter 24I just happened upon your story and read it all in one sitting staying up until 4 am in the process. It was so well written, and I just could not stop reading. I am really looking forward to the sequel. I hope you are still interested in writing it because I am definitely interested in reading it. |
Edna Pests 10/11/11 . chapter 19"It was just that the grand gesture was usually not something he was accustomed to making." Well, his big brother is rubbing off on him. "He hadn't slept well last night. Something troubled his sleep, keeping him tossing and turning as though in anticipation of something," Yay for psychic family connections! |
