So, I read this fic after watching the entire Blood series and feeling completely frustrated with the whole Saya/Haji situation. Thank you for writing this. It was exactly what I needed: Eloquent, erotic, and fulfilling.

HOW have I not reviewed this fic yet? I swear I've probably read this a million times, shame on me for not commenting!

You're seriously my go-to ficcer when I'm craving serious Saya/Haji, and this is probably one of my favorite stories of yours to date. The quiet moment in the carnival, when Haji slips his fingers inside her (!) is pretty much the hottest thing ever, because it's HAJI and for once he's letting himself go a little. His concern for her in the last chapter was really touching and well-written, because they're both learning and Haji's trying so hard to be gentle, even if he's just as nervous and inexperienced as she is.

I think my favorite part though was when Saya was telling Haji that she loved him, and how he kissed her so chastely and sweetly afterwards. It makes my soppy shippy heart happy :)

This is very well written. Even the characters are captured perfectly (wich is the easiest thing to miss in FanFic). The names you picked out for the twins are a lot more Asian influenced than ones I had picked out. I would have personally liked you to bring in some of the othr characters (Kaori for example), or had at least put in some explanation for why they might not be in Okinawa anymore. Then again, I'm all for the side details that can get annoying. :)

This fic was excellent. You've got a good mix of feelings here, there's dark and light and melancholy and lust and love and comedy and it all blends so well and feels so real.

You do well with the characters taking minor roles in this as well. Kai comes across strongly, as do Kami and Sora... er, sorry, Sora and Kami.

Also kudos for letting Saya kick some ass without her usual weapon.
