It has potential but I really can't decide how good this is until you write more. I figure that is one way Mara could've gotten on the sail barge. Though I think she is a bit naive about Palpatine controlling and lying to her. Also, I figure Luke would bring Mara with him to Yoda so Yoda can train her since she is the first force sensitive person he met that wasn't one of his masters or his enemy (He didn't know Leia was his sister yet and probably didn't realize her potential.) and can help him defeat Palpatine and Vader.

This is great! I'd love to see some more of this story. I like Mara Jade in 'Return of the Jedi' stories.
