An Authors Pen 4/22/11 . chapter 1I appreciate these commentaries on the in-game characters and I agree that Clair seems pretty immature, more the she should be after the battle. What about writing one where the character is finally defeated, maybe from the POV of Lance's Dragonite. He could probably deny her championship. |
 malu.kuku 2/5/11 . chapter 1 ...And now I feel a bit guilty D:
MY SOUL IS ROTTEN! *runs away crying* |
Oceanfur 11/25/10 . chapter 1I do care...somewhat. But at the same time, I can't truly care, nor can I answer those questions honestly. I don't care about weak pokemon, but it is impossible to say that in the game, it will infinitely loop if you do. I like how it mentions that the true dragon masters answer honestly, even knowing that it's wrong. It makes me feel bad for playing pokemon, and being so cruel, but then again, it's only a game. I don't REALLY care. |
 Starlight-Ninja 7/9/10 . chapter 1I try to. I don't really know if I do or don't, but I try.
And, considering most people get the right responses from walkthroughs, this story fits very well. |
Unfortunately Unknown 10/5/08 . chapter 1Um, actually...I do. I adore my little screen pokemon, and get very upset if one of them is hurt. If they were real, and could talk to me, and said "You know, I don't want to fight anymore." I'd say, "Okay. I'll go be a pokemon researcher then."
...Yes, I know I'm too attached to games. Don't remind me. |
 StaringGreyEyes 2/12/08 . chapter 1â“ is a strange name. otherwise cool |
bushes283 1/23/08 . chapter 1I just read the reviews and I can't believe how stupid some people are, personally if my pokemon were real I don't think I'd be able to make them battle, but they're not real and that seems to be the point you're tring to make. People know they're not real but they like to act like they're real, no wonder a lot of people think pokemon is stupid and babuish, it turns people into pixel loving mushballs. |
Dabrikishaw 9/7/07 . chapter 1How dare you make something like this? I happen to own EVERY POKEMON GAME IN EXSISTENCE! and I love all of the pokemon I have captured over the past 5 years ive played! |
Cacarukanot signed in 8/31/07 . chapter 1 Okay. Yes, yes, we KNOW that you reviewers have good kind hearts and LOVE your pokemon to death.
So, now that we've got that over with...
I likes my pokemon. Yes I does. But as much as I like them, I've always kept reality and games apart from each other. The only way I've crossed the chasm is by fanfiction or fanart.
So what have we learned today, the rest of you who actually agree with Farla and aren't flaming her just because 'I LUV MY POKEMON AND I HAET JOO FER SAYING THAT I DOANT TREAT MAH POKEYMANS WITH TRUST AND LOVE'?
That if everyone else just used their heads, they'd see it makes perfect sense.
(though with the Friendship Checker that's recently appeared in Diamond and Pearl, things may change.) |
Invisible-chan 8/3/07 . chapter 1( I do. I love my Pokemon. I hate letting them faint. I would get so upset when my 'sweeties" fainted when I was younger. Seriously, if Pokemon were real, my Meganium, Laparas, and Ho-Oh would be my best friends. |
Mr. X 11/17/06 . chapter 1 Me. I do. I get very much into every game I play. I do care about my Pokemon, and I'm not the only one. If you want to group everyone together with yourself, then ... shame on you. |
Captain Wolf 11/12/06 . chapter 1I can see how easily this can be the case. It would be easy to guess the right answers without truly believing in them. And really, how can you love a digital creation. I guess you'd kind of expect it if I said that I loved my pokemon. Truly, I think I do, but it's hard to really understand how I can. Because I know that know one is feeling real pain, no real harm is done. For all I know, I might of walked into the Dragon's Den without healing my pokemon, either. That definately wouldn't have been the case if I had actually swam through those waters on the back of my pokemon and stood before the Elder. At times, I often wonder if anyone had ever gotten one of those questions wrong. You have to pass, no matter what. You have to get the badge and the Dratini. Honestly, this one was better than the one with Suicune. Nice job.

neogirl7900 7/27/06 . chapter 1Quote, "Because honestly, who here actually treats the pokemon in the game with trust and love?"
Actually, my brother and I were six and eight when we got into those games, and we did... we still do, sorta.
Anyway... that was... depressing... in a way. I like it, though. |
Lazy Mew 6/2/06 . chapter 1Well, I think I looked like a stupid girl for you but trust me, I always play the game of Pokemon (Crystal is my fav so I know everything about it, no doubt) with love and care. I always treated my Quilava well (note: I didn't allow it to evolve), at least in the game. I always heal it before it fainted and always avoid hard battle. Well, if you can't call it 'treat with love and care', then you must call it what? 'Too worrying Pokemon'? Pokemon is like an unreal friend for me. I don't have many friends in the real life so games are my friends. Believe me, if you're on my side, you'll feel the same like me. |
Skitts 2/13/06 . chapter 1I really like this... I love the Dratini's point of view, it's so sad it's adorable .
I change my feelings towards the game all the time. Sometimes, I'm incredibly bored with the game and couldn't be bothered it at all. And sometmes, I pick it up when I'm bored, get obsessed, and start caring about them and stuff.
But really... They aren't real... So I can't really too attached to them. They're just a game for our amusement, as so some people can make money. And you can't even communicate with them. |
