That was just so sweet.

Harry has been on the receiving end of extreme violence from a man twice now and it's bound to have a detrimental effect on her mentally. The attack by the Thriller Killer has brought the domestic violence back to her and it must be completely messing her head up.

Love the idea of Dempsey being there for her and I hope he can save her from spiralling downwards. It feels like even though she doesn't realise it, she has all her hopes pinned on him to rescue her.

Can imagine the nightmares only being kept at bay when Dempsey is sleeping beside her...sob

Thank God this was the 80's and she could leave him a letter rather than send him a text message lol Romance clearly died with the advent of the mobile phone ;-)

Now I'm waiting for Ch.7 with great anticipation.

Wow! That was really intense stuff.

liked how you snapped back to Chas for just those few lines - it really helped to build the whole feel.

"Answer me Harry. You left me once. Us once. You aint coming back."... my lip trembling slightly

"I'm scared Harry. There I said it. James Dempsey is scared."... and then he pulls back by mentioning 'partnerships' but joy of all joys, it's the catalyst that has everything come tumbling out of Harry and now she wants him to stay. She needs him!

Blissful chapter and now I've still got Ch.6 yet to read :-D

Well, that was an interesting one.

"You guys took exams for this gig?"... great line.

Robert Makepeace used her as a punch bag! Nice angle -he cheated on her with her best friend AND beat her up! If Dempsey ever comes face to face with him there will be blood!

..."She's gone and she probably isn't coming back because yet again the man she's in love with has let her down."...interesting that he omitted to pick up on that. Maybe Chas was firing too much stuff his way for it to fully sink in.

So Harry's been to the doctors and been given sleeping pills which would indicate she's in quite a bad way. Can't imagine her seeing a doctor unless she really felt the need.

... She had always been a bit too independant to be a true daddy's girl but it was nice to know he cared... Probably very true!

And on to the next chapter which I'm looking forward to immensely. Had forgotten all about this story as I hadn't put it as an alert until now. At least as I'm a few chapters behind i've got a nice long read ahead though ;-)

Beautifully written. Some fantastic dialogue in there and inclusion of mannerisms.

From Spikings: "Never, and I mean return home unexpectedly. Opens a whole can of worms."... that made me laugh.

Chas played it sooooo cool and you kept him so in character.

"If you like." She shrugged. "Actually, yes Dempsey. Away from you."... Loved it! Could hear her saying that perfectly.

I thought they would finally open up to each other to talk about what had happened and how they both experienced it, but now Harry disappeared!

By the way: In Holland they didn't broadcast the episode on which this story is based not at the end of the series either. Guardian Angel has been the last episode here too.
