Why does this wonderful story not have more reviews? It enrages me to know this! You really did a marvelous job on this; I really felt in tune with the Persian's thoughts about Erik. The emotional level was also nicely done! There's nothing bad that I can say about this story!

This was great. There was some verb tense mitakes near the start...something like heard makes instead of made. Anyways. I loved how The Persian gets to tell this from his POV like he does a bit in bth Leroux and Kay. I like your voice for can tell he puts up with a lot from Erik and still considers him a friend underneath but he also is very tense...there is a stifled feel. He is worn down from putting up with Erik and yet feels responsible for him..he cannot stop trying to keep Erik out of trouble. I thin the ending where he stops warning him and just wishes he had let Erik never come to this place in the first place fits in very well with his defeated attitude after all these years.
