It was really nice mushiness! Loved the text from Carter, especially. And happy endings are so satisfying. I admit, though, I really like guys in suits and ties (Colin, gorgeous in a suit!) so if I were Jo I would not be making Zane change clothes. I'd love to see him in a tie. Thanks for writing!

I love mushy endings :) And I gotta say, I think it makes sense that Zane would want to start from scratch and prove his worth in being there. Really nice take on it!

And I also wonder if Jo might find this Zane to be even more appealing that the previous one. I certainly do. I can definitely see why it would make her feel guilty and afraid.

Great chapter! I can defintely see Jo taking her anger/hurt out on an inanimate object. Loved Zane's little crisis of conscience too.

I really liked this. The more I think about it, the more I think Zane might really leave...if only to return with a fabulous excuse for leaving (like seeing his mother or some such sweetness...ooh! fic idea, lol)

Anyway, odd as it sounds, the thought I'm left with after reading this is "What does the G stand for?" :) My husband goes by his middle name, so this makes me super curious. But curiosity aside, I really look forward to reading the conclusion to this lovely beginning.
