That episode of Doctor who where the Doctor, Amy, and Rory go to the most terrifying place in the world, a child's bedroom, and get sucked into the doll house and all the dolls ar laughing and sing that song that goes something like "tick tock and all too soon, you and I must die." SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?

Yep. Ring around the rosey is about the black death, just like what most children's songs are actually about; people dying horrible deaths.

*Shivers* OOoohhh... seriously...that gave me the chills...I feel kinda weird right now, like a little sick. Yikes, that was super well written and it really drew out the emotion and fear...eeek that-omg I don't have words that was REALLY creepy and super good at the same time. WELL done!

I really liked this! it was really... haunting. good job! I liked the end bit, where merlin hoped desperately that Arthur wouldn't follow him, but a few minutes later he did. great last line too. I would have liked it if merlin had waited for him, and they'd headed off together, but I really liked it even without that. I felt so awful for Gwaine. great work- this was a really good little fic.

This was interesting, different certanly (do you just have a secret desire to kill off everyone on the show?) although accordong to the fount of all knowledge that is Stephen Fry ring a ring o' roses wasn't actually about the black death :-/

I like it, despite the fact Merlin dies *small sniffle*. When I first learned what the song actually meant I was really disturbed. Seriously, who teaches little kids to merrily sing a song about people dying from plaugue? WHO I SAY?
