I like this (because I love the mundane, remember? LOL) a lot. I don't really know why. You've managed to flesh out Wayne very, very, VERY well, considering the fact that he was barely in the canon (if he was even there...?). You know, I was like, "Who...?" when I first saw the pairing, but, yeah. Anyway, I like how he is portrayed here, as a somewhat cheeky, nice person I'd like as my tea-maker. Pfft. I love that you sneak in little details, and I think that the way you write about the little things, him having a Welsh accent and all that, further assist in making him three-dimensional. Hermione's tone is perfect here, observational, quiet-ish, intellectual. I like how Hermione's all giddy with happiness, because it stresses on the whole 'finding happiness in the mundane' theme. I like how there is the silence at the end, bring out the whole 'you know you love someone when silences aren't awkward' thing :) And the last line is perfect. Just. Perfect. Because I love tea. Okay, that and because it ties up the wonderfully poignant, sweet, lovely fic.
