Great story. I intended to have read and reviewed this one earlier, but my internet wouldn't work on my laptop or Ipod, so I had to wait for one of them to work. Loved the reference to Torchwood, reminded me that I have a backlog of Miracle Day on my Freeview box to watch. And the views expressed about Ianto, exactly mine. I refused to watch Day 5 of the last season because of Ianto's death.

I love it! Terrific job! I love the use of what is going on in the real world in this story. Were you affected by the earthquake? I'm living in Boston and while I didn't feel a darn thing I was worried about my family in VA and NY when I saw what had happened, but everyone is okay. I hope that if you, or anyone reading this was affected by yesterday's quake is okay.

The earth was doing some pretty good moving and shaking here in NC, too. Spooky to see the trees swaying without a bit of breeze. How do the folks in California stand it, knowing the big one could come at any time?

and the best way to check for natural gas leaks is to make a mixture of water and liquid dish soap. Use a brush or a wash cloth to throughly soak the pipe in question. If bubbles appear,,, LEAVE. Also remember No smoking or starting a car in an area if a gas leak is suspected.

Also check for cracked clay water pipes, mostly by watching your water meter.
