I kind of liked this, but it doesn't look like you've updated in some time. Do you plan on finishing? If you still have trouble with the direction of the story I have a few suggestions, but it really just depends on what you envision the story to be. Feel free to PM if you're interested though.

This is good! Might I suggest that you write next about what exactly happened in Canterlot? Also, maybe follow Sonic around for a little bit?

Idea that came to my head, Sonic Unleashed, people changing personalities because of Dark Gaia possesment, Sonic not losing anything because of something in him, I dont remember, maybe you could apply this:

Sonic destroyed everything, the heroes couldn't help but look how Sonic was laughing evily, Suddenly, he starts groaning, Urrrk, wh-what is happening? His fur changes back to Blue, he starts to change colors, trying to snap out of it, he gets it for some time, he does it again, he snaps out of it, he explains what Chip/Light Gaia told him, but this time it was stronger than the other force, but he managed to snap out of it! Just Idea that came to my head!

Whatever, this story is awesome, perfectly made, keep it up!
