Finally finished reading as far as the story goes till now, and gotta say I love every bit of it. This is actually one of the few stories that truly captivated me and which made me laugh out loud. Rimmer's "I think I can see its tonsils" and his "Well, either way, let's aim him at the waitress" made me crack up! Such fun comments inmidst a very dangerous situation were so misplaced, so totally odd and yet so very Red Dwarf. Loved this to no end! Haha, and now I can't wait to read about how SuperSmeghead saves the day (and his life as a matter of fact). Brilliant work there! Hope you'll update soon!

Ha, I knew it! I knew Lani was no good ever since she told Lister not to go and see the psychiatrist. And as soon as it was explained Lister had to find the misfit my bets were on the waitress. Brilliant! It's way past midnight now but I just couldn't stop reading. Started with your story some time ago and first thought it'd continue to be a real-life-sitcom-like fic which also made me take my time with it but with the plot thickening I just want to read on and on.

So far this definitely counts to the best fics I ever read. I love the weirdness of the past few chapters, how things are so odd but then start to make sense. Also you're great with your characterizations - I can just 'hear' everyone talk like I was watching an actual ep of RD, and this usually means that an author is doing a pretty fine job at capturing the crew. Now, I'm really pleased to see there are some more parts up already. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this awesome piece of work! Am totally looking forward to catching up with ch13 - 15! TK

Fab chapter, starting to pull together loose threads. Here's hoping Lister gets cured in time - there's now a strong Better Than Life (the novel) feel to this fic. Love it.

Some fantastic writing here - I've noticed that you're really honing a skill for capturing little movements and characteristics that bring the story and its characters to life. Fab stuff.

And OI! You picking on my lovely London? *humph* It's not drizzly, I'll have you know. It can be too hot, and sometimes too windy. As per what you'd expect from a British capital, the weather is never quite right... ;-)

One thing I did pick up on - you describe Lister as a 'country bumpkin' which - although the phrase itself is a spot on English saying - really doesn't apply to Lister's character at all. He's from Liverpool - one of England's largest, most urban cities! :-)

Apart from the odd American tone/word/phrase, you've done incredibly well at replicating British life - most impressive!

Still chugging along nicely with a sit-comy feel to it, great stuff. Bit hard to flow with Kochanski's line of work - although finding a modern day alternative to astronavigation is a tad tricky...! I found Kryten's background/description particularly good.
