I simply wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this story. It is always a pleasure for me to have Meredith portrayed as someone who can "stand up for herself." As well, interesting to have from Lexie's viewpoint, felt you captured Derek's "voice" and fun to have nasty nancy and to bring back Preston Burke.

It seems almost like you are a Mom, nicely done scenes w/ Z. This whole story has the feeling of a vortex of Mer/Lex w/ the other characters moving around, true to character. I liked it very much.

this is so amazing. so so amazing. i read the whole story - it took me one whole day because of RL. haha! but i LOVED it. i've always loved the merlex connection. and i've always felt that we needed to see more of them being sisters. so i really really loved that in your story. plus, your characterization on everyone felt so accurate that every word was so wonderful to read.

okay, i'm heading on to the sequel. :)

I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed reading this story! I LOVE the relationship Meredith is developing with Zola, and I really hope to see that more in the sequel! I hope Mrs. Shepherd pulls through, and that Meredith and Derek can work things out. I also love that this story explores the relationship between Meredith and Lexie, and I'm looking forward to seeing where that continues to go in the sequel!

I've been meaning to comment on this for a while now. This is a fantastic fic. I really like how you write about Meredith and Zola, and Lexie.

I love that you let Meredith sign to Zola. It's a really good way of boosting a child's communication! (although I would say it takes all babies a while to catch on, no matter their native language).

It's a really interesting discussion Meredith has with herself over to what length she will go to treat Zola. It feels like a very real issue considering she's working with children with the same condition. (by the way, I thought that maybe 6 months was a pretty regular time for typical babies to sit on their own, so for a baby with spina bifida, it seems early? but i guess all babies' abilities vary!)

Anyway, this is a great story and I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter and hopefully many more to come :) If you want, check out my story, which also deals with Meredith, Derek and spina bifida (sadly, I started it long before Zola was in the picture, so she's not in it).
