i don't think al's going to eat the goat, though; you're right; if we see it before it's on the table we kinda have issues with the thought of eating it. Although since I moved further south and begun hangin with hunters i've tried frogs legs, nailgai, and emu; as long as i don't have to do anything but eat it off the plate and forget where it came from... XD

This was really sweet, and hilarious... and sadly true. I'll eat beef and chicken like it's nothing, but the one time my mother's cousin (from Italy) tried to get me to eat rabbit, I freaked out. In my defense I was about 9, but still...

I recently read a book that said 'If you want to start a farm, you should keep goats. You can eat them for the meat, milk them, burn their dung for fuel, and use their hair for clothes. Plus, they're easy to keep!' or something like that, in case there's ever a global economic crisis and you want to get away from it all. XD

You're right! What a hard decision. I wonder how long this could get if it was a story? I liked this, especially the argument the narrator and Arthur had. Lovino's perspective never fails to crack me up. Fleshing out the background on this would be intriguing to me since I'm wondering what happened to America in the beginning but Scarecrow!Alfred seems just as charming! :D I enjoyed this a lot so one-shot or chaptered wouldn't matter to me. If if was a one-shot do you think it'd get pretty long, too? Makes me think that it might have to be chaptered at any rate to break it up into readable chunks...then again I've seen super long one-shots before...

Hey cool you posted it! I would love to see more of this story. It was just plain hilarious, even better with the Arthur the Good Witch arguing with the author...I mean you...huh...anyway, I really want to see more off this story. It's off to a good start that's for sure!

Poor Romano, just trying to save his tomatoes and he gets caught up instead. Of course, if the wind actually managed to flip the shed over I don't know if his tomatoes would have survived, covered with a tarp or no.

I really like what you did with breaking the fourth wall in the section with Arthur. I must admit that it took me a second to figure out what was going on, but once I did it was hilarious.

And America is perfect as the scarecrow. I can just see him flopping around everywhere. But even as a scarecrow he reminds me of a monkey, being all 'look at me' and swinging on trees and such. Good thing he's made with straw.

But yeah, this is definitely something I'd like to see more of eventually.

Dude, you read my mind. Hetalia is perfect to parody the wizard of oz! America makes the perfect scarecrow (in search of a brain), Germany is the tin woodsman (stiff yet dutiful), and Italy is definately the cowardly lion (for obvious reasons). Well, more like the cowardly housecat! And Romano as a foul-mouthed Dorothy. Loverly. XD

I'd actually jotted down a few notes for a WoOz parody for Romerica, but I had England as the wicked witch of the west if only for the visual of him sending flying mint bunnies after the gang. I never thought of Belarus as the witch of the east... but its a hilarious choice. lol

it took me like almost a whole hour to actually finish this chapter because i was laughing so hard tears were making it difficult to read...

it all started when the words broooootheerrrrrr appeared and i knew who you were talking about; that took like 10 minutes to stop laughing there...

arthur arguing with the author's writing style took another 10 minutes or so, i can't remember; i wasn't really looking at the clock...

lovino refusing to wear the horrible clashing shoes took another 10 minutes to get over; i can just picture all this happening XD laughs for another 5 minutes before i can continue with my review

finally that dig lovino said about getting alfred a brain and al agreeing before he caught it was good for another good 5 minutes of laughing so much i cried...

even your author note was awesomer than usual; wipes tears
