OK, in Subroutine, Eva does creep me out because I'm seeing a lot of the warning flags of "controller" (not sure if you've had the misfortune to date one or see a friend or relative date one).

This portrays her with a lot more sympathy. Refreshing, actually. There are still a few "uh, oh" flags, but you'd want to think that things with them would be healthier if there weren't the Encom/F-Con luggage rack that neither party asked for.

And the last scene. Yeah. Jet's got a point, Sam. Paying ATTENTION takes more effort than a yearly prank, and while Eva used Jet, Sam's inattention ALSO caused a lot of painful fallout.

And is it just me, or does Jet have ZERO luck? As in "Man plans, God laughs" level of luck?
