This is hilarious and I love how the teacher thought Damian was hitting on them.

The way you introduce the characters is so natural, they're all in character and it's not too much at once. I really hope you continue because this is one of the best I've read.

This was a great first chapter! Your characterizations were spot-on and I can't wait to see whats next. I do like how you focused on Damian, he is easy to write for and being the new guy it makes it easier to introduce everyone.

As for the American school system...at my high-school Seniors were allowed to leave early if they took a study hall instead of an extra class. So that way the last two periods they had were lunch and study hall and instead of going to them they could just go home. The athletes didn't really do this since they had practice after school and a lot of honor/AP students didn't do this either because they wanted to take a class instead of the study hall.

As for the American school system thing, in a lot of schools the seniors are allowed to leave school early (and at some schools come in late) if they have a free period.
