Loving your stories, am actually reading all of them over again - well most of them - and am being totally frustrated at my inability to write a good fanfiction. Anyway, thank you for your amazing fics 3 Why I'm saying that in a review to such a seemingly random chapter in a random fanfiction out of the so many that you have written even I have no idea, but I guess it was the IB comments that got me started. Either way, your stories are amazing, we all love you, and I beg you, keep writing. Thank you.

I really liked this chapter! It made me cry ;_; This line touched me especially: And couldn't you find it in your heart, in one tiny little corner of your heart, to reconsider falling in love with me, lonely little Buttercup, your best friend. . . '
I loved how you put in the flashback and told the story of their childhood, it really filled in some information gaps, and was a very sweet story :)
The other not-so-sweet part, definitely made this a PG-13 fic, and although I'm tempted to say higher, the fact is I'm only 14 so I'd be contradicting myself. But, although it was an unsettling part, I have to say you wrote it very well, as I could really feel Buttercup's fear throughout the whole thing, and her relief when Butch came. Personally though, I don't really like attempted rape scenes in fics, just because they're a bit too serious, and that is sometimes lost, but I understand that the relationship development of Butch and Buttercup kinda rested on this.
Buttercup's character is much softer than what is portrayed in other fics, but I think this is actually very interesting, since it's the first one I've read in first person Buttercup's POV, and it brings up the possibility that she's been wearing a 'mask' all along...
Butch is also really interesting I think, because he seems much more caring and less violent than how he's portrayed in TEF. I like this side of him, and I can sort of see it in Butch, although perhaps some actions were too sweet for him to think up by himself ;D
Overall however, I love how you represented the best friend/lover relationship between Butch and Buttercup! I have really enjoyed it so far, and expect that the ending will be just as enjoyable - if not more.
(Although, (and this is meant to be a compliment although my writing skills may not portray it) I can also see that your writing style has improved SO MUCH since 2002, especially when comparing this to TEF! That said, I really enjoyed this slightly less 'professional' feel to the story, as it almost gives the feeling that its from a diary...)

I loved this story. Seriously. After reading 'More Than Human,' I was a little disappointed at the lack of ButtercupxButch romance, but this completely made up for it. Now I'm off to read 'Best Kept Secret.' D

So, maybe you'll claim this isn't something you're proud of, but it still made me cry, so it can't be all that bad. And I'm smiling, because buttercup's point of view is amazing and full of personality. There's a few mistakes here and there, but all in all this was reaallyyy fun to read. And if you DO ever come up with an epilogue, I will drop everything just to take the time to read it. Ah, fluffy angst and romance... I do love it so.
