What is it with the LotR fandom that so attracts wonderful fanfics that end up on permanent hiatus?

Awesome...I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this, especially as I'd always imagined what a "good" wraith might be like...now if only we could do something about Legolas being said wraith...the guy gets way too much screen time.

*Jez blinks rapidly at screen for several long moments* OD you know I actually had to go back and read chapters 19-21 again just to get my bearings? It has really just been that long. I hope that you do finish this fic though, I would very much like to see how you end it all.

Ah! It's good to see this new chapter, and the fact that it is short does not mean that it is bad. In fact, it leads back into the story quite nicely, and I enjoyed it greatly, especially Frodo's prayer at the end - that was somehow a touching moment. :-) Good luck with reviving your muses. ;-)

aww, frodo's last bit is so sweet. i'm glad he still has the leaf. but he never even knew that the thing that captured him was once his dear friend legolas. what will he do when he finds out?

don't worry about it being short. it has some really great description and stuff in. though, you've now added another spur for me to update as well. i haven't done anything in ages either.

If your muse needs a defibrilater (sp?), then by all means get one. A bit of CPR wouldn't hurt. This story rocks - it's funny and warmhearted (yay Gimili and Lorien and Mirkwood elves!) and also depressing and unnerving (Lego- ahem, Lasselenta and poor Frodo :{ ) Update soon, please! *blinks* Does my eyes deceive me? This story is updated?! Mon dieu, how wonderful! I know I haven't reviewed this - ever - but I stumbled upon it awhile back, over a year ago, I think and was blown away with how amazing it was. As soon as I had an account opened, I immediately put this story in my favorites and prayed I'd one day see it updated at the top of the list. And don't worry about how short it is. Yes, it IS short, but your description and POV of Frodo, and the imagery you put forth in this small chapter made it worth it, and worth the wait. At least I think it that way. I hope you find your muses back, because this is one outstanding story that I'd love to see to the end and learn the fate of Legolas and the rest of the Fellowship. Fabulous job!

Saruruman is really creepy, but not as creepy as Lasselanta. (shudders) Lasselanta would be awsome though, if it didn't use to be Legolas...

WOW. I've been reading this story for a while, and it is awesome! You are an excellent writer, and your portrayals of Tolkien's characters are so well done, not to mention believable. Please update soon! :)

I have to say that I absolutely adored your portrayal of Gimli, the interactions between him and the Elves of Mirkwood were wonderful. And he is also one of my favorite characters too, so that helped. ;D

I do wish there was more, I am dying to know what happens, but I also know what its like when your muse abandons you in the middle of a story.

Anyways, all in all it's a wonderful tale, and I shall pray to Eru and the Valar to aid in your muse's recovery. :P

Yesterday I started reading your fic 'The Weeping Wraith' not sure if I was going to like it.
Of course, I kept reading... & reading... & reading until I'd finished.
But to my horror, the last update was LAST YEAR!
I'd originally thought on commencing your fic that it was finished, but imagine my horror & despair when I realised that it was last updated over 1 YEAR AGO!
Please don't tell me after all that rather spectacular work that this fic will forever languish incomplete?
I was so happy to find a story that was finally giving Samwise (my favourite character) the recognition he deserved & his relationship with Alcarin is terrific.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the Gimli chapters ( if you could just devote as many to Sam...). It seems every time he opens his mouth, he makes a friend (apart from the obnoxious Hithilion) - perhaps you should send him to Mordor with the ring, I'm sure Sauron would gladly oblige him if wanted to throw the Ring in the fires of Mount Doom, lol.
Please update this again as I can't take reading yet ANOTHER great fic only to discover it will never be complete, I won't survive it this time!
