Nice look into Dietrich's life. The ending was so touching with Thomas thanking him. Good job!

What a wonderful little slice-of-life in this postwar tale. It's so nice to see Hans and Janine happy, even though the privation they still must deal with is evident. And I can imagine why Janine must have something non-alcoholic!

It's good, too, to see that young Thomas harbors no ill-will, in fact he's grateful (as he should be) for Dietrich's intervention.
