You know, I read stories like this and think what would the show have been like if JDM had been more available and they were able to keep John Winchester around? Not as an every episode character but much like Castiel has been over the past couple of seasons.

I like to think we'd have seen the adult version of the kind of relationship you describe in this story - they all butt heads (and always will) but that loving bond is always there.

Bickering teen Winchesters are always fun, too, and I loved the bit of 'I'm-going-to-college-Sam." Definitely shades of things to come.

The whole part in which sammy goes out of his family me is so disagreeable, always I have preferred that this next to dean and john, this way really it had been easier to take care of him, when sammy this one only, specially far from dean, is when the worst bad things have happened to him
