This is a really brilliant fic. It's one of the best Harry/Remus or Harry/anybody I've ever read. Its loveliness is actually in the absence of heavy romance...just delicate sweetness, and a really, truely, incredible exploration of the emotions and motives of two very troubled people. You've done the emotions in this story so well...this one will remain one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed this story. I have been looking for more good fics written about Remus, or with his POV. I don't think enough people appreciate how sad, lonely and difficult his life has been, and how long he has had to suffer alone, without a lot of light or hope to sustain him. This is a lovely short fic which gives that, and it is well-written. Thanks!

Excellent story! It's very nicely written, and Lupin in particular is quite in character. You've done a really nice job in dealing with such tricky subject matter, and it comes off as very realistic. Great job)

That was really good. One of the best Harry-has-morbid-thoughts fics I've ever seen, and the best Harry/Remus on . I've never read a story where Remus is so deep in his depression. It was morbidly fascinating, and I love it.

All I can say is that I'm reading this twice. I spend an inordinate amount of time on this website and I rarely review, but I'm impressed. You're a great writer and I love the characterization. Keep writing!

It was a lovely piece of writing. Poor Remus and Harry, but some hope at the end.

You have a very painful subject that you have been dealing with in the story, and you have done so masterfully. This story is very, very good. You have my respect.

Once again you manage to write a powerful and amazing story that just reeks of realism and pathos. Fabulous.

Wow that was brilliant, in an understated sort of way. I love shy, quiet but still powerful dialoge between Harry and Remus, it's touching in a way.
Also, and this is what hit me most, is I adore the way that Harry realises that adults lack answers and control, and the way he deals with the fact that in front of him is someone who has just as many problems that he does, but still doesn't have a...non-destructive (in a sense; I can't quite find the words I want to put there meathod of dealing with them.
And the whole God from the Machine deal seems like a very Remus sort of thing to know; it fits wonderfully. Excellant fic!
