The open hostility between Sirius and Snape is perfect, having one or both of them drugged really is the only way to keep the peace in the hospital wing. I like reading the Squib series because it gives a different perspective of the Hogwarts world not to mention a really interesting dynamic character. Filch is beginning to come out of his shell more because of the kindness of Neville and Ginny which is good. I guess that his bad experience with wizards has made his somewhat distrustful. Luckly I don't think that Callandra (with 2 l's) will suffer the same fate. I'm really interested to see how this romance between Neville and her plays out.

Very nice! It was interesting to see the interaction between Snape, Sirius and Filch. And I can't stop thinking that Madam Pomfrey simply poked one of Severus's bruises when she said "I'll be the judge of that." (Severus's yelps of "Ow!" had me laughing out loud...) It was a nice, humorous ending to a more serious story.

How did I manage to miss the epilouge? I'm sorry! It wasn't untill I'd read A Squib's Proper Place I reliazed that I was missing out on something.

Anyway, it was a really funny end! Poor Snape. Fawkes should be happy the Potions master was too ill to hunt him down and serve him stuffed at Thanksgiving. Harry overhearing the conversation would have done it. Let's all praise the wizard/witch who invented sleeping potions ;)

hehe. I can just see Fawkes doing that, and Snape grumpily pushing the bird away as it tries to cry for him...and Dumbledore looking concerned but very amused. I don't know where it happened, but Dumbledore is fast approaching snape as my favourite character...well, except for Uric:) Such a sweet little epilogue.
