If you don't like writing it, then the chapters turn out bad, and then we (as fans) don't enjoy reading them. I understand about loosing-your-muse; I keep losing mine and searching for it to little avail.
And I feel like facepalming over a lot of my old stuff sometimes. Though I have no regrets over Bill the Unicorn, just fyi.

Just keep on doing whatever you want to do-different fandom, different story type, pottery, Raoul-fangirling, whatever. Don't sweat it over a lost crackfic (and, honestly, there is really no proper way to end most of them. So congrats to you for being able to do it.)
