I will tell you that this is a terrific story; compelling drama and excellent dialogue in so many scenes really superior.

What detracts from your story is far too many typos and grammatical errors; not worthy of your capabilites. Perhaps in a rush to get it out given the long delay since the last update?

Which leads me to my other point: too many authors wait way too long between updates. You have to know that many of us are reading probably 6-10 stories, and with too long of a time between chapters, the story loses interest or knowledge of prior scenes or activites.

Moreover, an author's tendency to apologize for a weak chapter is also not benefical to anyone. If it's not up to snuff, don't publish.

I also realize that there are other activities that must take priority over timely udpates. If that is expected to be the case, then don't start to pubhish unless you have the story complete or substantially complete. I'm sticking with yours because it's so good.

I'm guessing by now you have a typo in your title, too.

To me, you hqve a great talent and a knack for combining their love with a crime story; I look forward to the next update and future stories!

Perhaps a little choppy, but the logic and reasoning was well-developed.

I like how you had Lanie there for her.

Castle's pleading was very effective; a world with her in it was worth sacfificng a relationship; the ultimate demonstration of love for another other than laying down one's life.

I really like how you have Beckett's voice down here. It really was heart breaking. But I really don't think that Kate is going to be able to trust any of them really. Lanie knew what was going on, proven by her conversation about Castle, so is Kate going to recognize their betrayal as well? I like that Castle talked about the cost of what he was doing, knowing the agony Kate would endure at his actions. Can't wait to see what happens next. I really hope that Kate makes them work for it. All of them. For someone who had been so betrayed by Royce and then by Roy, I just don't see her letting go of the lies. No matter their reasons, no matter what Lanie says about Kate dying, they lied to her face.

I hope that Kate is able to finish the puzzle and get the guy who ordered her mother's murder. And I hope that she'll keep her head and not fall into that deep, dark rabbit hole. If that happens, Kate could disappear forever...

I want her to realize that what Rick did was out of love, to keep her safe and alive. She needs to forgive him.
I hope that they get to have their happily ever after...

It wasn't "really, really bad," honest! And yes, there are people still reading this story.
It's a good thing that Kate's still seeing her therapist. I think she needs it more than she thinks she does. He's done a great job helping her to untangle the threads of her life and has helped her to understand her feelings for Rick.

I'm so glad that they finally got together. It's been too long coming, you know? It's funny how Lanie tried to corner Kate"you're glowing only to be shot down by the arrival of Alexis.

And speaking of Alexis Kate did a wonderful thing by bolstering Alexis' confidence in herself. She'll eventually find the right college with or without Ashley.

Unfortunately Kate found the file and went off like a rocket. That woman's got a hair trigger temper! At least this time Lanie was able to talk some sense into her. I'm so glad that Kate was able to sort of give Rick an apology.

Rick's talk with Jim was unsettling. I know that Rick loves Kate, but his life is worth living as much as hers is. It's almost as if he's decided to die...

Gates is a right bitch. I don't like her at all. She's too rigid and one of these days something's going to make her break!
