PE-CHAN! I can't get over that. I love this story thus far, particularly the interactions between Nail, Kami and Piccolo. and, of course, Meece is a very interesting character. moving on, hope i'll like the rest just as much!

This was a perfect full-circle type of story.
I loved it.
I really don't have much else to say xD except to talk about how much I enjoyed it.
You portrayed everyone's personalities perfectly and I really can't even find one thing that bothered me. It was fantastic.

i loved the story! but i think that you should make an epilouge (doubt i spelled that right) about how Meece & Piccolo go and confront Meece's old parents and beat them up...?

okay, maybe not THAT violent, but maybe add on an extra twist, like how she's the daughter of one of the other characters? i'm no good at creativity, but maybe the part about meeting the parents is good? ^.^;;

This is amazing story. Piccolo is my favorite character from DBZ and you have managed to portray him perfectly.
I also love your writing style and the way you describe things. Most writers don't have enough... well... energy... to describe as much as you and because of this your story really have a spirit! I mean... I can really feel the emotions and all!
AND...one thing: I like Meece! I think she's a great character. Not annoying at all like most OCs. The fact that she is deaf makes her really interesting and her realtionship with Piccolo is just something very sweet.

Hey, I dont know if you still check reviews but I just had to...
First of I have to say I despised DBZ for many, many years. But then during a finacial dry spell shall we say, I finally caved in and really really watched it.(You understand years ago there was little anime on TV until cartoon network smelled the coffee.) Despite, the silly plot holes and all the yelling I really started to get into the show. But for all my other favorite anime I would look for fanfiction. But not DBZ. Today I said what the hell, and had the wonderful luck to come across your story. It rocks, you write wonderfully. Im supposed to be cleaning the attic right now...but the hell with that, I wouldnt have missed this for the world. You did good work. Be proud. And for heavens sake, be prolific!!

Let me just say, as someone who's only seen 10 episodes (not counting the ones that were obviously stalling for time while the animators came up with something new [on a side note, I was never so happy to see a planet blow up]), your writing style allows for easy acceptance of unfamiliar characters and/or plot developments. in chapter two there is a section that is untrue. in one of the paragraphs there is a line that contains this--"those who were born without hearing would never be able to speak verbally."-- i know this section is untrue because my mother was born deaf and she can communicate verbally. even some of her deaf friends can comunicate verbally, and they were born deaf as well.
that is all i have to say on that subject. the story is written very well. good job!

Wow! I've been reading this throughout for the last two and a bit hours and I have to say you've written an AMAZING fanfic. Piccolo was my first fav Z char, along with Shin [Supreme Kai] and you portrayed him wonderfully, always keeping him in character whilst exploring how Piccolo would deal with this sitatuation. [Well, that's all the stuff I learned in English :-p] Hope you write more Piccolo fics ^^
