I'm loving it, I absolutely want more! I've enjoy reading your fan fics immensely. I'm interested to see where you are going to take the two of them. I like how you've made it easy to imagine them talking both lightly and seriously, with hidden deep respect for one another. Great characterisation! I'm eagerly looking forward to your updates, and hoping there is some deeper interaction between them in the future :)

As for improvements... perhaps more of a description of the sounds/noise in the second chapter. Silent or kind of noisy? Plus, I would like a bit more on far away from the shop she was, if she thought he ought to have said hello to her but then he said he wasn't "about to yell" from across the street. I know this is pedantic, but it was a little murky. And how old is Leila, if you want to include that.

Really laser pointed look into the character of Leon. I especially liked the part about fighting so hard to get away from Z12 only to end up spending all his time working there. Ouch. You can almost feel the decay of these characters despite the fact that physically they change so little. Well done.

It's getting more interesting with the character of Leila now added.. I could even sense the spark between them. Plz keep going! _

I'm so glad you decided to allow Raymond to live beyond the confines of the movie! He, of all characters, deserves the privilege of your words and story-telling. Pisces, I feel like giving you a hug right now! :) I came to the "In Time" section to write a belated review for the second chapter of your "Detour" fic and I was pleasantly surprised that you updated this one and added some Ray/Leila interaction. I'm so ecstatic with this development. :)

You pulled off their interaction perfectly. This chapter would definitely fit in the movie. Their banter is really funny; I was laughing at Ray's jibes at Leila. It just dawned on me that probably, the humor stems from the fact that they've both survived for so long, so they understand each other well and are at ease with each other.

I love those little details you included about Leila's leg bothering her and how she can't even afford to seek medical help, as well as the similarities between Ray and Leila. For such a short scene in the movie, you managed to flesh out in this fic this whole other dimension to the Ray/Leila dynamic. You rock, Pisces! :D

I forgot Leila's hair color. I definitely have to watch this movie again! Argh! Real life time constraints...Why can't there be more hours in a day? I need more time! :D

You know that I read this fic before the movie came out and guess what? After watching it, I realized that reading this fic was way better. LOL! The movie wasn't so bad, though; nothing spectacular, but it was okay.

Your version of Leon is very in character. He's exactly how he would be in the movie - resolute and grimly determined to "keep time." I love how you gave him a little more personality, though - he deserves to have some fun when he's off-duty because he's such a hard-working man. LOL. You managed to work this addition seamlessly to his persona, though. It doesn't feel out of place at all, and after seeing what he's like on the big screen, I understood the reasons behind his thoughts and behavior as written in this fic.

Will you be continuing this story? I hope you do! :)
