I see this as sort of a transitional chapter between the reunion and the final confrontation with Gaston.
Adam really needs to stop worrying. He's not even sure he's still a prince, given his absence for a decade, so whether or not he can marry Belle may be a moot point.
So...the servants are still objects, apparently. I was kind of hoping when Belle and Adam woke up they'd be back to normal. Cuz, ya know, they just shared this really deep and profound moment out of love and not just lust. Boy, this curse is really specific with its triggering methods.

More, please more. This was such a good chapter, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Love how Lumiere and Cogsworth practically walked in on Belle and Adam, it was hilarious. Though I do wish Adam would stop being a Doubting Thomas. After all, takes two to tango, and Belle wasn't complaining. ;) Pretty sure if Gaston hadn't come in, Belle would have been trying to put Adam's doubts to rest. Can't wait to see what happens next. My fingers are crossed for Adam.

This chapter was a real emotional roller coaster. I thought you did a really nice job of describing Adam's conflicting feelings in the earlier part of the chapter. It's very realistic that he'd feel that way once he had a chance to sort of process what had happened between him and Belle. And the last part of the chapter - yikes! I felt proud of him but also really anxious for him at the same time. The note that it ended on is ominous as hell, but I'm holding out a shred of hope that what you wrote about the most corrupted men being capable of redemption could apply equally to Gaston. Ok, probably not, but at least there's still hope that the Enchantress can intervene.

Another amazing cliffhanger. I like the realistic worries Adam had about their encounter, the social mores involved. I wonder what Belle's thoughts about it would be. It is fine that you kept this chapter completely in his point of view though.

I loved Cogsworth's. "Oh. Oh, my." LOL. So it looks like another face off between Adam and Gaston is coming up! Can't wait for the next chapter, and I do hope the story doesn't END soon on the other hand, I am so excited to see every alert on this.
