Neopuff 12/15/09 . chapter 2
I was very skeptical after reading the first chapter of this fic...and I cracked up at the end of the second XD

Thank you for your elements in composing a decent fanfic. I shall remember to abide by these in the future. However, not ALL stories should end with the problem being solved. In many cases, those are better for the sequel; and short stories are usually best without being solved.
Cori Falls 7/9/01 . chapter 2
I reviewed this story once before, but I'm reviewing it again now that I see there's a chapter 2. I love how the second part turns around the darkness of part 1 and makes it comical. I also think the tips for reading, writing, and reviewing are helpful for everybody concerned.
Mieko T 4/14/01 . chapter 2
The second chapter was excellent. I will use those tips in future. By the way, in my opinion a very good fanfic by those criteria is Mystery Squeezit's " Magic in Denial" I know you like her writing and this is a very good fic. Please review her too!

I agree, and this moral especially applies to Pokemon, which has so many different characters and everyone seems to love to bash them. Half the Pokemon fanfics in is bashing one character or the other! This is all too true of many fandoms. If you don't like something, don't read it!
Crys Clouse 3/10/01 . chapter 1
I don't think this is an appropriate place or manner to address these (legitamate) issues
Raider314 2/3/01 . chapter 1
i get the feeling you hate flamers. you're right, that it is a story, born on imagination, but everyone has an opinion, and you should respect that. opinions are not right or wrong, they're just opinions. i was not offended by your story, just by the fact that you jump to conclusions.

All good advice. I think the best advice is for writers to use the info as a checklist. As I read, I found myself thinking back to my stories and asking myself these questions. And as for the story part, I loved it! It was a great way to make a turnaround from "So What Part 1", and it was hilarious when Jessie pulled the same stunt.
Delicious Mud Pie 1/6/01 . chapter 1
Whoa. That's a lot. But flames really are nothing to be taken seriously-that's true. But besides the critiqing comments, I liked the story. The best part was when James was all, "Waaah! I missed it." Hahahahahahaha! I dunno why it says to let an author know you don't like the genre, though. I mean, when someone critiques my whole story and their comment is AAMR forever, I don't see that as being very helpful. Just kinda makes me roll my eyes. Anyway, great twist at the end of the story. Later.

I see your point because I REALLY like BAMR but people always want to kill other people for writing them. I can't believe people actually kinda like the one I wrote, but hey, I feel your pain. I mean, sometimes the same old stuff gets boring anyway. It pisses me off when I read a good story and people rag on it for something insignificant, or because they didn't like the pairing the author chose. Anyway, I'll get back to reading. Bye

I suddenly, really like you. That statement is very true. This wouldn't really apply to Chad (my Eevee), since he reviews with me, most of the time, anyway. He uses an attack called 'Flame.'

I want to add a little addendum about criticism: negative criticism can be positive for a writer also as long as the critic answers the "Why?" question. To say a story sucks is a waste of everyone's time. But to offer reasons why the story lacks positive feedback helps the writer to learn how to write better, and perhaps how to write for an audience.

(Reviewer bows to your wisdom) Many thanks for expressing what I have tried to tell people many times over. Well written, well constructed, and it gets the point across. Good work! -Echo
ellena riddle 9/16/00 . chapter 1
cool. good message, even if the beginning scared me a little.
Eveam 9/16/00 . chapter 1
It's a sad fact of life that people *can* snap like that but this is a wondeful story to get that point across. And I agree with Jennifer Ever (Zero) this site is theraphy to some of us. We can all forget out troubles while we read a great fic. Great story Gethsemane! Keep writing!
