First of all I loved this story and although I agree that reid may be an expert in both games, it doesn't mean he's an expert in hiding his tell, which is what Rossi was homing in on, so cannon or not all was explained.

Poor Spencer, when is he going to learn that people often don't mean what they are saying. I so hope he beats Rossi at poker too.

Prentiss beat Reid at poker. Reid is good but he plays according to statistical analysis. Rossi would beat him because Rossi could out bluff him. There is an emotional element to the game that Reid wouldn't be able to master. And of course, there is always the tell. Rossi would read Reid much better than anyone could read Rossi.

Poor Reid. Loved the interaction between the two and how Reid explained how he had beaten him at chess. Also, loved how Dave turned it all around on Reid with poker. Loved how Reid made the comment about Gideon not being a sore loser and Dave revealing that Gideon couldn't play poker. Awesomeness!

If you remember Reid very rarely loses at Poker either in matter of fact I think he lost more chess games to Gideon then he has ever lost poker.

Hadn't he survived being picked apart by the three furies of the Western hemisphere?" - Loved those lines. And Reid being called Beanpole is right up there with the "Pipecleaner with eyes"
