Sounds like Rei's nearing her end. At least she's letting Shuu take care of her some, too.

I'm still more than halfway braindead from cramming everything I learned for trucking into a few weeks, so, though I feel this review is lacking compared to my normal standards, I'm going to have to leave it here. Sorry.

Short chapter. Wonder why Shuu didn't remark on Kensei or even notice anything. Is Rei dying?

Also, "He knew she was clod and he was doing his best to keep her warm." cold not clod.

Uff I was afraid that maybe you abandoned this story I'm so relieve that I was wrong. I'm more than curious how it all ends and what happens to Rei and what does Shuuhei in the end.

A necessary development in the story... Now for Shuuhei to finish recovering. It's sad what Rei's going through - but obviously there's nothing he can do to stop her downhill spiral.
I probably don't say this enough, but I really appreciate the realism you put in this story. Emotionally in particular. And I love how you keep everyone in character. You're doing a wonderful job with this and I'm always looking forward to more, however dark and/or sad it gets. Thank you.

I see not need to say anything other than I am sorry for your loss.

For some reason, the chapter didn't want to load the first four times I tried to click the link. And then suddenly it worked. *rolls eyes* Contrary computers...
I've said it before - and I'm sure I'm sounding repetitive by now - but I'll say it again: you have a wonderful way with emotions. You keep the characters acting in ways that are realistic for them, because you pay attention to the emotions. And you throw in a variety, which spices things up.
Love the interactions and details between Kazeshini and Shuuhei - and about their/his inner world. Very interesting.
You have me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what happens next.
And I can kind of see what you meant about Kenji - though he's still not my favorite character. At least he's got a decent side, even if it is hidden fairly deep inside him. Watching him with Rei is both painful and cute - for more than one reason each way.
Very good cliffie, by the way. Left us right on the edge. ;)

Definitely a quick update, and dark. Now I'm worried about Shuuhei - and wondering if his sudden illness is connected to Kensei's problem. Good thing Rei was there to find him. And that she knew a place to take him, though obviously Kenji's not exactly a great person. Still, he's not all bad - he did have that flash of conscience.
An interesting, emotional update, with wonderful depiction of Rei's and Kenji's reactions. Very well done.
