I love Dean on his balcony with the sunset. This is such a nice story. They deserve a good vacation.

The wilds of the south of England look pretty darn good in the travel books too.

This was a beautifully descriptive chapter. I could have spent the night on that balcony with Dean just sitting together, gazing at the stars in the open sky, smelling the flowers mixed with the salty air, and listening to the soothing waves of the ocean. ( I was fortunate to be able to do something similar with my husband on our first anniversary. 5 kids later..we haven't done it since).

Here we are just about to see Dean run out onto the beach and into the water and...we have to wait!

Enjoy your time away. I envy you. With construction beginning to fix the damage to my house from Hurricane Irene and 5 rowdy kids and 5 rowdy pets this place is anything but peaceful and quiet! I will think of you and smile.

Seeing Dean's transformation is just sweet. First he is scared to death on the plane. Then he is afraid it's all just a dream. And finally he turns into a three-year-old on a sugar-high.

Very glad you are doing this in a serious manner. It is so much better then slapstick; makes it more real.

Reminds me very much of my first flight. I was going away for a year to live in another country and the flight's takeoff was delayed for an hour and 45 minutes. THREE different times during that delay I got up and tried to exit the plane. I wasn't afraid of the flight; I was severely homesick already!

Fortunately flying has never bothered me. But I do understand how it has negative effects on others (like clowns are to me!)

Poor Dean gets so sick. I feel really sorry for him. But he would be a lot sicker if he tried to mix alcohol and anti-travel sickness meds. I hated that we didn't get a little glimpse of them traveling to Scotland in season 6.

They were SO cute in Wal Mart shopping for their big vacation. It's nice that they get to have good luck for a change. They all three deserve a chance at traveling to a first class resort instead of their usual cheap motels.
