Just enough to make the story whole and complete, but not too much that it becomes tedious and boring.

Nice job. I like the confusing tidbits followed by the meat. Liked the idea of just borrowing a host.

I truly have enjoyed all these posts over the summer, even if it takes me a few days to get to them.

So Dean had a crossroads demon in him? Might have been nice to know that before it got out...having to seal deals with a kiss and all. :D

But Sammy to the rescue, as always. Nicely done. :)

Oh, wow once again you packed a heavy punch of angst in a rather short story. It was good, even with the fragmented style of writing . I really, really liked it.

P.S. Have you seen the first episode of the 7th season? It's been a while since I've seen Dean so despondent, and Sam...

And I really hope that was not a spoiler to you.

I really liked this one, but I'm a huge fan of all your work. I had a quick question. Do you know when the start of season 7 is?

Wonderful story, though I'll admit it was getting a bit tense as I kept wondering if Dean was going to make an appearance. I was beginning to worry that the story was taking place after episode 3:16.

But I wanted to believe Sam would find his brother or Dean would show up, so I didn't even jump to the end of your story to ruin the surprise.

You definitely surprised me when Dean appeared and he was possessed. I love that Sam came to the rescue even though he was hurt, but that is what the Winchester brothers do, they are always there for each other.

I love reading possessed Dean fics - the good ones are very few and far between. This one was great! I'm a bit sad that Dean's never been possessed on the show - I'm sure they could work around the tattoos. Sam was weirdly sexy when possessed by Meg - I wonder if it would work with Dean? And would Dean even still have his tattos after coming back from hell? They said all his scars are gone - a tattoo is basically a scar with ink in it. And while we're on the subject, why the hell wouldn't Bobby have an anti-possession tattoo? How the hell was he possessed back in Season 5? (Was it 5?)

I would love to read more possessed Dean fics if you ever felt like writing one. I love your writing and I feel bad cuz I hardly ever review (I read them on my phone in my lunchbreak mostly) but you are by far the best writer on this site and I love seeing a new fic from you pop up in my inbox!

Ooooo... summer is over already? ...I mean, hiatus is over already? And so are your weekly fic posts? What a pity. All through summer I have really been looking forward to each and every one of your posts. You are a terrific writer and you manage to pull of action and emotion with equal excellence.

Although I liked your previous fic "Every Hour of My Life" even better than this last hiatus-post, I decided to leave a bit of feedback for this one, since it will probably be a bit longer before your next story - now that hiatus is over.

I loved how Sam kept expecting Dean even though he was mostly out of it or almost too sick or injured to worry much about anything. Oh, and how he kept comparing everyone (in this case even all those people who helped him somehow) to Dean and thinking that Dean would act differently, no matter if it was a soothing touch, words of comfort or just holding him. Liked that a lot!

So, once again, many thanks for writing those two and for sharing your view of them with us.

In this I do like the repetitive listing of the negatives, the absence of Dean making his situation so present for Sam. Also the patchwork structure and, of course, the final reveal of what went on.

That story was more scary than I was expecting. It's just not right when Sam is in the hospital and Dean is no where to be found. I was glad to see sam rescue Dean.

While I'm not awaiting season 7 yet (we're still on season 6!) I have loved your summer hiatus season of fics, it's nice knowing that they'll be a new fic from you weekly.

This was no exception. I loved the format, a series of people who weren't Dean and Sam's reaction to that, knowing deep in his gut even though he's either not fully conscious or as sick as a dog.

As with all your fics, its the way you capture the boys that keeps me coming back each time to your work, the complications and simplicities of their relationship that you explore so well.

Although Dean has been "influenced" by monsters on the show such as the siren and that ear wig from the Mother, I find it interesting that he has been the only human main character that hasn't been possessed by a demon as yet. Sam, John and even Bobby have all had experiences being possessed. I liked how Sam kept comparing everyone to Dean and found them all wanting until he got the real deal back. Hopefully this upcoming season will return back to the brothers' bond now that they are truly back together.
