It'll be interesting to see how the Silver Chair plays out. Eustace can hardly miss "UNDER ME" from the air, now can he? They might manage to skip the Giant Episode entirely.

I am *very* interested to see where this story goes. I've read the books, and watched the *old* BBC TV-movies, but only saw the first of the new movies. I'm interested to see what you make of this, especially since you seem to have decided to take things at a slower pace for a change.

Are you sure you don't mean Corin instead of Corim? Prince Corin of Archenland was the main character of Horse and His Boy and I cannot think of a Corim in the series. Anyway, this is a rather interesting idea that you are exploring and I hope you continue it.

I had rather taken this to be as finished as it was going to get, it having been nearly a year since the first part was posted. I can say that, this time, I am glad to be proved wrong. And I am certainly going to enjoy whatever more you write of this, as I've not read much Narnia fanfiction, nor the books themselves, in some time, and would quite like to do so.

I don't have much to say about this, beyond declaring it good, because there is not much of it to speak of yet. Oh, there was a dropped S in "Eustace's" in the first paragraph, and one in "minotaurs" in the second.

Now, there is one last thing I'd like to say before I end my review. You did not send an answer to the review I left for the latest chapter of Ashes of the Past. Did you simply miss that I had reviewed, or was there nothing I had to say that you felt warranted a response? (I would not blame you if it were the latter, as most of that review was simply unimportant comments on the fight scenes and rhetorical questions that I did not expect answered except by reading later chapters.)

Love the peom and the fact that Eustace still retained the dragon because he loved to fly. Reep would have been proud of him an adventure after Reep's own heart. (In chapter 2 you mentioned Reep position on his head when flying on Eustace)

A beautiful 1st chapter I do hope he took Edmund and Lucy with him when he flew. They probably bragged about it to Peter who of course would want to come with them on the next camping trip.

very amusing and interesting to see what could have happened if Jill and Eustace had met Caspian. How sad for Eustace to see Caspian as an old man.

That Caspian "For a moment, the aged monarch drifted off into might-have-been. "Yes, I can see that. Be sure to let her know that it was reciprocated." He shook his head with some effort, casting off the bittersweet memories. " still remembered Susan and that kiss how bitter sweet for Caspian.
