I really like how Max's dad told him that dreams NEVER come true. I can almost see that as the event that let to Max's not remembering half his dreams when he woke up.

I have two words for Max's dad; drunk bastard.

Anyone who would talk to their kid that way shouldn't have kids.

Well written and poignant, but that pissed me off.
