This was an absolutely incredible chapter. I adored the Lee/Zak dynamic and I loved the resolution. I don't even know what to say but I love, love, love this story.

Well...Hello hindsight. It's amazing what you can learn from a 2nd look. Frak...Zak did win. It's now Lee's turn to fight and win. Did anyone catch Anders winning too("surprise victory")? Lee has an army to go through to fight for Kara. Don't let go Lee. Kara's counting on you. You're counting on you. The only one coming between you and Kara now is yourself. Man up. She's counting on you. She's made her decision. Now, make yours.

Kara's faith had Daniel switching places with her for Lee's love. I guess blowing the Horn of Chronus has it's consequences. Destiny be damned.

Just found this story and read through it. Very interesting, intriguing, and complex. The timeline thing is a little hard to follow at times, but I'm keeping up.

I love that Lee is going after Kara. It's about time. I liked the idea of the house Kara built for Lee, but only if they were going to share their lives together in it. One thing missing though...the porch swing...?

The Sharon/Olivia/Athena triangle is quite interesting, and confusing. Poor Helo.

I'm getting whiplash going back and forth in time. But I know it serves it's purpose, for this has happened before and will happen again. You think by now someone should get it right?

I like your twist of Kara's brother being Daniel and that he; and some of his brother's, are still alive in the Petra Lab bunker. I guess one brother for each of the God's gifts...the Arrow of Apollo, the Horn of Cronus, the shield of Atlas , and the Ring of Orpheus. Gods' army come back from the dead to lead humanity. What a scavenger hunt they have on their hands.

I'm really liking this story. I'm also liking that Kara's "poof" isn't permanent. Thank you for that. Lee deserves better after all their time together and mostly apart and wanting to be together. Anyways, thank you again and hope to have you update soon. Read ya later. TTFN(ta-ta-for-now).

It's taken a while for the rats to triumph, but in three of the five stories currently sitting atop the "all" category (Jane's The Torches of Other Worlds, and my Long Journey Home are the other two), they have finally come into their own. I always found it curious that a program that explicitly tackled water, fuel, and food shortages, as well as the seamiest elements of the black market (including the sexual abuse of children), made only a glancing reference to their takeover of the post-apocalypse Colonies, and completely ignored what should have been a major threat to public health on New Caprica. Kudos for getting down into the gritty details that help make this story a fun read.

I too think you should quite your day job and write Apollo et al. More please.

So I have no idea what's going on. lee is looking for Kara but Kara is back on earth but Lee actually found her. Hmmmm...must bust my little brain thinking of this.

Really, it's fantastic. I'm completely drawn in, and I have no idea what is going to happen. I'd been working on the Daniel premise, but that's about all I had. No idea whether Kara would disappear, Sam shocked me twice, wasn't even positive (though you'd be so clear about it) that Lee would lose the election. This has been utterly unpredictable and thoroughly plot-driven and altogether spectacular. Awesome, I say. Awesome.

You have a gift for building tension into a plot, and you pace dialog very, very well. But, please take care with some of the small things. Shotguns fire shells, not bullets. And Galactica's klaxon could not be heard from 80 miles away because of the earth's curvature.

What the hell? Completely unexpected. So Baltar fixed Sam? OMG! and poor Lee although I loved what he said to her about the good byes and whatnot!

And Adama...all badass to stop the civil war!

I think Lee might find this horn on his hike with Kara...what's going to happen?
