Oh, Toni/Tara and Naomi. I wish they could have lasted longer. Your writing style here is just brilliant - I can really imagine this going on in Tara's head. It's soft and subtle but at the same time it has Tara's usual bite. And I think the shorter sentences/passages work here, especially since her thoughts wouldn't be completely coherent.
