Have I truly not reviewed this fic? It is my second time reading through it and the story is one that brings joy to my eyes and a song to my heart. A pleasant invocation of the mythology of Okami on another story, wielded with talent and patience and a bit of mischief. The slight twists in the original setting making for an altogether more interesting tale.

Using Forquet rather than Guiche as the measure of 'And now understand, this is how the Familiar is different than the world believes' was something nice to see. Too many authors abuse or mishandle that revelation.

Having Louise get a chance to not start the story on a belittled note by having a clearly magical familiar was nice too, and seeing how that has stretched into her having a slightly more confident bearing as well. Something she could hold onto.

Ah, I could go on and on, but I rant about this fic as good reading elsewhere as well and encourage folks to read it, and what more needs be said? :) I look forward to more.

Holy, F*cking Amateratsu... this story is freaking AMAZING! I-I, I don't know what to say. I just love it!

Ammy's personality is just awesome! Always helping people in need, doing a little of whatever she feels like, being a total Bad-ass by simply Existin; Perfect!

Sylpheed, or as this story suggest; Irukukwu, is just utterly ADORABLE! Being so pure and innocent, talking in that so Very, very cute man... it's just... *SQUEEEL*!

I also like how in this story, Louise accualy treats familiar with Respect. Whenever she seems to get a familiar in in any story (and even in the manga/anime), she never treats them with respect, and just like... dirt really.

Please don't feel bad about the wait, this story is more than worth it. I have read several fanfics, and I must say this is one of the best. The interaction between the characters, as well as the inner thoughts of said characters is quite well written. I can only hope that you continue with this story, as I am quite drawn to it.

I love the ..descriptive, inner word play that you use for Shiranui. Your story really draws me inn, I can literally see what your describing. I must say that it's definitely going into my fav folder.

Nice story. I really would like to see this continued one day. It would be nice to see Amaterasu together with Louise in human form.

This story is brilliant. I've only watched the first two episodes of Familiar of Zero, but your descriptions and depictions of the characters are wonderfully vivid and Shiranui's portrayal is enchanting. You also have a marvelous way with words that frequently leaves me impressed at how well actions and emotions are conveyed, and this is especially true for Shiranui and her powers. The battle against Fouquet was awesome.

Anyway, other than some questions about how raising the sun early would work, I've very much enjoyed reading this story. You've combined two very different series in a fun and riveting crossover, and I thank you for sharing it. I hope you will continue to work on this story.

I very much like all your characterizations. Poor Amaterasu is having a tough time fitting in at the pace she wants/needs. At least she's making friends, although Irukukwu is perhaps a bit more of a blabbermouth than is ideal. :) Please keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Loved it. Okami is one of my favorite PS2 games, and you captured Amaterasu's personality perfectly. And I cannot wait to see what happens next. This story has so much potential, and this one cannot wait to see what it blooms into.
