I just found this and I'm so glad I did. It was beautiful. You captured Han's introspection perfectly.

I just discovered your awesome fic! I love stories from Han's perspective that show he's not just a stubborn smuggler and a scoundrel but a man who cares deeply about his friends and thinks a lot more than people give him credit for. I also adore the way you described Luke from his POV. Not many people know Luke the way his best friend and his sister do, and I think you captured Han's thoughts and emotions perfectly. He would never say all this out loud, of course, but he can always tell it to himself.

This was my favorite part because it beautifully sums up Luke's life: "That shiny edge he's always had, hardened somehow into a strength that gleamed like a landing beacon. But I could also see the weight of those chairs behind him. He was one man, taking the place of hundreds of Jedi that used to roam the galaxy back in the day..."

This was sheer brilliance surely the Force itself must have direscted your word giving you divine insight into every ones favorite smuggler.

Great, good insight into hans POV. Unsuprisingly i prefered the beginning bit, because i love luke when he's still a farm boy.

And the shiny. that is good. luke never does loose it does he.

That was such a nice little fic. Well put, and extremly well done in the characterization. Just the way the thoughts were laid out, very well articulated. I know I sound like a geek with my words, but there's no other way to describe it without being repetitive. None the less, I loved this little side story. I still don't understand the part in the description about Han being under a few brews though...

Very good introspective look at Han Solo. Never really could get him down as well as I would have liked, not as well as you in any case.
