Unexpected and interesting development with Hailey and Caleb, although it almost backfired and still could.

Points to Ryan for risking trusting Sandy again and being the one to make the first move, but then the Cohens have always put the burden on him and the Atwoods did too, so what else is new? Still, I like having that relationship, however tentative, again. I hope that Sandy can do his share.

The way everyone says "that place" is getting a little melodramatic! Maybe it doesn't have to be said at all by now?

Yeah, your not abandoning the story...
Would love to see a little more about Ryans thoughts. Is he realizing that he's not alone or just biding his time. Hope to see more of the twins and how they fit with both Ryan and Seth...could be very integral to a more balanced friendship. AND...really want to see a Kirsten/Julie smakdown...

It's sort of like Sandy and Kirsten have switched characters and places here, so it's kind of hard to get a handle on how Kirsten and Ryan are with one another. Major 180. I guess it would be easier to accept Ryan risking to trust Sandy with more because Sandy didn't openly assume the worst about him and reject him. He actually seemed to believe in him. Trust for trust. Having Caleb more realistic makes more sense. His attitude on the show was always hard to justify over and over.

Ryan's got lots to deal with, but with minors involved in such a sensitive case, none of them would have to testify in open court. It should be closed to everyone except for the ones who had to be there or there's always video testimony. For him, the hard part is still facing everything and saying it out loud to anyone, but keeping it private and anonymous should help.

Dawn probably never saw Ryan as a person, only property should could use to her advantage. And if she has no real use for him and doesn't want him, she's still looking for something out of it. Warped and selfish to the nth degree. If anyone needed proof that she never was fit to be a mother, hello.

I can see Dawn just wanting to make things difficult for Ryan because she can. She's already hurt him so badly and deeply, so why would this be any different. She didn't want him, but that doesn't mean she wants him to have a chance at a better life.

Interesting bit with Rosa. I'm not sure how it fits because she works for the Cohens and she's getting pretty personal going above and beyond what her role should be, especially with a kid who's only been in the house for a little while, isn't really family, and might be temporary. Maybe the Cohens have given her more authority with Seth while he grew up, but Ryan's another matter. Maybe she realizes that?

I was surprised by the part with Kirsten considering everything. Ryan must have been pretty disoriented and upset to be that vulnerable around her considering everything, but I guess it's a sign of how alone he is. That's something I'm not sure the Cohens have thought about.

I feel bad for Ryan. He speaks his mind, and then feels guilty and bad, thinking the Cohen's were going to be mad at him.

Hopefully, Ryan's wanting Kirsten to stay with him and confiding in her hopefully reflect that he is trying to reach out to the Cohen's more. It was sad, but nice to see.

The Trey plot was kind of from left field; I wasn't expected that.

I see either Dawn fighting the whole adoption process, or she's in a position where she can't fight it but that will stress Ryan out even further.
