Love the story! Now you need to write one with Danny being tortured and Steve having to listen. That would be awesome! (And oh wow, I'm a horrible person, aren't I? Oh well!) Loved Danny in this! His takedown was just so amazing! GO DANNY-SKILLS!

Dark it may be, but it was a compelling read!

Nothing wrong with a dark fic. We all seem to enjoy the whumpage. Love Danny when he's in a kick ass way, and being able to hold his ground even though his friend was being tortured. Steve was his usual stoic self in the face of whumpage. Good bonding moment at the end for them.

Just remember...dark is good! Amazing, I loved it so very much! I love seeing Danny lose it listening to Steve, and Steve's stoicness, and then the apology at the end. So true to character for both of them!

Hey! It feels kind of wrong to say that I loved your story, because of all the hardships you put the boys through, but I loved your characterization, and the fact that Steve knew how hard it was for Danny to hear him being tortured. And badass Danny is always good to read!

This is shameless poking, I know, but I'd love to see their recovery through your point of view... Just a thought...
