Kaoru's a bit too mean and in denial.. XD, I'm glad Kenshin just finds it amusing.. So I guess I'll just chalk it it up to her draconic tendencies.. after all, what's a girl to do with all that male attention. From the looks of it, testosterone spills from their breed are not a rare occasion.

This is truly amazing! The plot, the fantasy ideas, the historical, the worlds background story, the CHARACTERIZATION! Especially the characterization. Friggin loved this.

dawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwww that was adorable and suspenseful and amazing and intense and... i don't' have enough adjectives to describe how much i enjoyed this! in short, i LOVED IT! :) it was original, and remarkably well-written, and you got the characters almost perfectly, despite the AU-ness... great job!

Another piece I greatly enjoyed. I finished all of this in one sitting (much against my better judgment!) and I enjoyed setting and pace. I feared it would be too quick, but found that instead it was fairly organic.

The only problem I seem to run into was that there were a few paragraphs of important information I had to reread a few times to make sure I understood correctly. I will not say this was your doing, as when I read it I had some pretty hefty pain relievers in my system. That may have been my own incoherency shining through.

Regardless, the fact that I was so determined to understand and not just move on from a part that confused me or perhaps had something I needed to deduce from is testament to how well you caught my attention. Kudos to you and I look forward to seeing what else you may write, if you continue to do so. I hope to have time to look through the rest of your works at a later day.

You truly are a wonderful author. I have read your story "Little One" over and over and over again; so many times that I have lost count. And for the life of me, I cannot figure out why it took me so long to check to see if you had written other stories. I am very happy that I was able to find this one, and I am most eager to explore your other stories. I sincerely hope that you are writing professionally because you have an innate talent with prose and detail that is simply breath-taking and enrapturing. This is one of the most interesting k/k fanfics I've ever read.

um...to say that he'd PREFER she not want him than that she want him courting her is a pretty creepy and awful thing to have him say...I think you could have phrased that better.

I don't know how you do it, but you always manage to take familiar characters and blend them in a total alternate universe so wonderfully! The charm of the dragons, magic and Venice is just so captivating and beautiful. The romance build up between Kenshin & Kaoru is as sweet and heart-warming as usual. Thank you for this amazing story! Really loved it. )
