OH NO! CAS! He will be back. I know it. His exit was too anticlimactic for that to truly be the end of him, and I refuse to believe that the writers are going to be that cruel. Still, that scene was so unbearably heartbreaking and the trenchcoat! Not the trenchcoat!

I wish something like that happened. Just a little part of it. Cause I don't feel satisfied if it's the last time we see Cas. At the same time, Dean taking Cas trenchcoat, this moment show so much (Jensen did a amazing job!) but it's not like Dean to show his feelings...An he HAS Sammy to take care of. So thank you for writing it! :)

Yes this trenchcoat is a character on his own but without Castiel, I think he feels incomplete! :)

You don't think he might keep it in that storage locker with John's leather jacket (that Dean hasn't worn in years)? I don't know if he done holding onto hope that Cas isn't all gone... the same way he called Bobby's cell to tell him what he was feeling seeing the house like that... you could be right. Maybe you are... likely you are... but, maybe he keeps it in that place where he puts everything when it hurts too much to let go but it hurts too much to see regularly.

And yes... like the Impala, that damn tan trenchcoat now deserves a spot on the character list; maybe, it always has!
